The Old Town Sportsman 106 Powered by Minn Kota is equipped with a saltwater-ready trolling motor, featuring Minn Kota's low-profile 12-volt motor with 45 pounds of thrust. However, the motor battery is not included.

All Old Town Sportsman fishing kayaks come packed with a range of convenient features. These include customizable accessory tracks, cushioned floor pads for enhanced comfort and grip, a custom tackle box, and an abundance of rod holders.

Further enhancing the kayak's capabilities, three through-hull wiring kits and a universal transducer mount allow for quick and easy installation of a fish finder, without the need to drill into the kayak.

Comfort and maneuverability are also prioritized in the design of the Sportsman 106. The premium dual-layer Textilene mesh seat helps keep the user cool and comfortable throughout the day, while the adjustable foot braces offer ideal control during steering. Additionally, the extra-large rudder provides excellent boat control in both forward and reverse directions.

Measuring 10 feet, 6 inches in length, the kayak has a maximum capacity of 525 pounds, with a usable capacity of 329 pounds for people and gear. The kayak itself weighs 121 pounds, with the removable motor console adding an additional 17 pounds. Notably, the paddle is sold separately.

The Sportsman 106 is further equipped with a range of convenient features, including four 18-inch tracks for easy on/off mounting of accessories, one forward-facing and two rear-facing flush-mounted rod holders, non-slip EVA foam deck pads for traction and stand-up comfort, and shallow water anchor mounting inserts.

Lastly, the extra-large rudder on the kayak provides excellent boat control in both forward and reverse directions, ensuring a smooth and responsive paddling experience.
